1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using PurohitLink ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.
These terms apply to all users including devotees (customers), purohits (service providers) and visitors.
2. Services Offered
PurohitLink provides an online marketplace connecting devotees with purohits for:
- Home puja bookings (Satyanarayan, Griha Pravesh, Rudrabhishek, etc.)
- Marriage, engagement and thread ceremony arrangements
- Temple darshan tours and spiritual travel packages
- Online puja services via video call
- Puja samagri delivery
- Hotel recommendations and booking assistance
- Event and ceremony management
PurohitLink is a platform and facilitator. The actual service is delivered by the purohit or tour provider.
3. User Accounts
- You must provide accurate and complete information when registering or booking
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
- You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
- Accounts may not be transferred or shared with others
4. Booking Terms
- Bookings are confirmed only after receipt of confirmation from PurohitLink via WhatsApp
- All booking information must be accurate β incorrect details may result in cancellation
- PurohitLink reserves the right to refuse bookings at its discretion
- Prices are as quoted at the time of booking and may include a platform service fee
5. Purohit Terms
Purohits who register on PurohitLink agree to:
- Provide accurate personal and professional information
- Complete Aadhaar verification as required
- Arrive on time for every confirmed booking
- Perform services with professionalism and according to shastra vidhi
- Notify PurohitLink immediately if unable to fulfill a booking
- Not solicit direct bookings from PurohitLink customers to bypass the platform
- Maintain a minimum customer rating or risk suspension
6. Payments
- Payments are accepted via UPI, debit/credit cards and net banking
- GST invoices are available for all online payments on request
- Platform fees, if applicable, are disclosed before payment
- PurohitLink is not responsible for payment failures due to bank or gateway issues
7. Intellectual Property
All content on PurohitLink β including text, images, logos, icons, graphics and software β is owned by PurohitLink and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute or create derivative works without written permission.
8. Prohibited Activities
Users must not:
- Provide false information in bookings or registration
- Harass, abuse or threaten purohits, customers or PurohitLink staff
- Use the platform for fraudulent or illegal activities
- Attempt to hack, disrupt or reverse-engineer the platform
- Post false reviews or manipulate ratings
- Solicit purohits to bypass the platform for direct bookings
9. Limitation of Liability
PurohitLink's liability in any case shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific service in question. We are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from use of the platform.
PurohitLink is a marketplace facilitator and is not liable for the acts, omissions or negligence of purohits or tour providers.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Bhubaneswar, Odisha.
11. Changes to Terms
We may revise these Terms at any time. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. We will notify users of significant changes via WhatsApp or the website.
