Temple Visit Tips

The best time is October to February (winter months). Rath Yatra (June/July) is the most spectacular but extremely crowded. Avoid peak summer (Aprilโ€“May) as it gets very hot.
Most Odisha temples welcome all visitors. However, Jagannath Temple Puri restricts entry to Hindus only. Konark Sun Temple is open to everyone as a UNESCO monument.
Yes! PurohitLink can arrange a local purohit to guide you through temple rituals, perform special sevas and puja on your behalf. Click "Book Purohit" on any temple card above.
Carry flowers, fruits, agarbatti and prasad for offerings. Wear clean, traditional clothes. Remove footwear before entering. Photography rules vary โ€” check before clicking. A small donation is always appreciated.
